GENERAL SITUATION
The period from 07th – 09th October, 2017, moderate airflow from the Northeast will be affecting most parts of Zambia resulting in windy, hazy and hot weather conditions except for Lusaka, Southern, Western, Central, North-western and Copperbelt Provinces which will be under the influence of moist and unstable Congo airflow causing showery activities over these areas. From 10th – 11th the whole country will be under the influence of moist and unstable Congo airflow resulting in thunder and showery activities. From 12th - 13th October, 2017 showery activities will mainly be confined to Copperbelt, Luapula and Northern Provinces while the rest of the country will be under the effects of moderate airflow from the southeast which will bring about hot weather.

The Rest of Zambia:
Few clouds, windy at times and warm becoming partly cloudy and hot in the afternoon.

The nights will be cloudy, warm with rain and thunder.

Copperbelt, Luapula and Northern Provinces: Partly cloudy and warm becoming cloudy and hot in the afternoon with thundershowers.
The Rest of Zambia: Mainly sunny, hazy and warm developing few clouds and hot in the afternoon.
